IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) is a fertility treatment procedure that involves combining eggs and sperm in a laboratory setting to facilitate fertilization. The resulting embryos are then transferred into the woman's uterus with the goal of achieving pregnancy. IVF is commonly used for couples experiencing infertility due to various factors, including blocked fallopian tubes, low sperm count or motility, endometriosis, or unexplained infertility.

The IVF process involves several steps. First, the woman undergoes hormonal medication to stimulate the ovaries and promote the development of multiple eggs. Regular monitoring and ultrasound examinations are conducted to assess the progress of egg maturation. Blood tests may also be performed to monitor hormone levels.
